Your charity gives hope

Around one million Rohingya refugees are living in Cox's Bazar, the largest refugee camp in the world. Their makeshift shelters are vulnerable to the frequent fires which blaze through the overcrowded camp, as well as to the flooding and landslides of the monsoon season.

Fleeing persecution, our brothers and sisters left everything behind to survive. When their shelters are damaged or destroyed, they are completely dependent on us to build them new homes.

We urgently need your help to provide emergency homes for Rohingya families (see image on the left for examples). Each shelter home will be 16 feet high, 12 foot wide, and have a total area of 192 square feet. They will be built from long-lasting materials, including bamboo, metal and concrete pillars.

£250 will give a quarter share towards a sturdy shelter to protect a family from the elements for the foreseeable future.Â
