Pakistan: Where Food Poverty Reaches 60%

今日大瓜

In Pakistan, a staggering 60% of the population struggle to find enough food to eat. That鈥檚 around 113 million people who cannot rely on getting a regular meal. Sadly, the worst affected are society鈥檚 already most vulnerable, including women and children. 聽

With high food prices and mass displacement as a result of local flooding, a lack of financial stability means many families worry about where their next meal will be coming from. Whilst many of us enjoy three meals a day, for many families in Pakistan, this is a mere dream. On average, over half of a family鈥檚 income is spent on food and 44% of children under the age of five are stunted due to malnutrition.聽

As the holy days of聽Eid al-Adha draw near, why not donate your Qurbani to help needy families across Pakistan? For just 拢60, you鈥檒l not only feed widows, orphans and impoverished families with fresh meat on the days of Eid, but you鈥檒l also provide livelihoods to local farmers. Right from the very moment you donate until the days of Eid, we employ local farmers to ensure that your Qurbani is not only fresh and healthy, but of benefit to the whole community.聽

Make your sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt). Donate today and start your Qurbani journey.
